Intake Manifold casting No. Help

Can't find on any internet site listings. 8263762. Can anyone tell me what year and vehicle this was originally made for? Chevy or GM product. 2BBL. Maybe someone has a book with this number in it? thank you

Look closer at the numbers, as I can`t find any GM intake that begins with "826" 8`s often look like 3`s and etc.

Thank you DV for trying to find it. I thought the same thing and looked at it again and tried searching the web for 3263762, no dice. It is an "8".

apparently the numbers are so rough or rusted that you cant read them because no numbers even similar to this come up anywhere.
http://www.nastyz28.com/sbcmenu.php

starting with 3 or 6 are the two options

no 8 on GM intakes

so being that it looks so much like an 8 means its in really poor condition or the code is very badly roughly cast

hmm

whats the date code on it and can you get a pic ?

what are you wanting to know about it exactly ?

its just an old 2bbl intake

is it even a chevy one ?

if its not then i cant help you

maybe its a pontiac or olds or buick one

do you know by looking at it what division it is ?

good luck

I agree with you 100%. Never saw a 8 as first no. on intake. It is not rusted and I have looked and cleaned, it is 8263762. It has a big "T" over the number and GM 2 under it. It has the original Chevy orange paint. It is just a 2bbl but I want to sell it and be sure it is not something special that's all. Especially when the number is weird. Must be Pontiac, olds, buick, cad??? Any futher help is appreciated if you all have time.

Post a photo if possible.

If it's a 2 bbl., there's slim to no chance it's "special".

A guy I know hauls a cast iron 2 bbl. BBC intake around to every swap meet he goes to, thinking he's got something "special", too. AFAIK, 15 years later and still no takers!

Oh no, this is special. It's the only Chevy manifold in the world that the part no. starts with "8". Gotcha, gotcha! I will post a picture soon.
