Intake Manifold Oil Leak - Smallblock 327 Chevy

I've developed an intake manifold oil leak on my small-block 327 Chevy engine.
It appears the leak is only coming from the center bolts on both sides of the manifold and collecting a small pool of oil at a slow rate after driving the car.
What are my options for resolving this problem? Will it need a torque wrench? Is the product "lock tight" an option? Thanks in advance.

Remove the bolts, clean them and clean them spotless. Use a light coat of RTV sealant on each bolt and reinstall. These usually torque to 25 ft lbs but what I usually do is tighten them with a long wrench and place a good pull on them.

Thanks! What is a good product to remove oil (clean up) from the intake manifold?

I did the same thing on my 350. RTV around the bolt heads. Brake cleaner handled the clean up good.

Follow-up Question on RTV

So only use the RTV at the top end of the treads and the underside of the bold?

That's what I did. run a good bead around the washer under the bolt head.
No need to coat the whole bolt your just making a seal under the bolt to the intake hole.

I used high heat red permatex and wiped the excess off after I tightened it.
It solved the problem.

Removing Oil from Metal

What are some other products that can be used for removing/cleaning oil from metal such as intake manifolds, bolds, etc. Thanks in advance...

Carb cleaner works great. Sea foam in a spray bottle works too.

You really want to go all out, get some aluminum brightener from your local
Truck and semi trailer supply company. It comes in 1 gal. bottles and runs between 25 and 30 bucks. It goes a long way even at 50/50 mix with water. You spray it on and rinse with a hose. It's kind of caustic so protect your eye's and hands from full strength. I used it on my edelbrock intake before I installed it and it came out looking like new. It took a couple of application's,
but the result's were great.
