I looked in Summit catalog, looks like the Edelbrock #2116 will work, better yet you go to Edelbrock.com and look under performer intake manifolds.

Any suggestions as to which Intake I can use?

The Edlebrock Performer 2101 with the QJ fits under my hood with about 2" to spare
I need to know what intake I can use with the Vortec heads
Thanks

We have used both Elderbrock on street and strip engines we build, 7116 which is the Peformer RPM and I like the 7516 which is the RPM Air Gap intake which we use if the customer wants spend a little extra money.

I built a 350 with vortec heads for a guy with a 80 vette last year. We used a Cyclone intake. It is basically an Edelbrock intake, you can't tell any difference in the two except for the price. We got the Cyclone for around 130 whereas the Edelbrock was around 200, I think. But anyway it fits under the stock hood with no problem. Also if you want to use the stock Vette valve covers with the centerbolt adapters, throw the gaskets that come with the adapters away and get thick Felpro cork gaskets. The steel reinforced gaskets that come with the adapters leak no matter what you do. Good luck with it.

One other thing to remember is you have vacuum operated headlights. Too much cam, no lights I have the cam specs here that we used it is a comp XE256H-10 212/218@ .050 447 int 454 ex. That's what my machinist came up with on our combo. If you have any questions on the build pm me cause we have already done the vortec vette.

GM Performance Parts makes a vortec intake that will fit a Q- jet. I don't recall the part number off the top of my head, but it looks good.
