interchangeable power steering pump ? with what ?

previous owner attempted to put AC on this motor, added the power steering pump with the double pulley. I need to remove the double pulley, problem is, the double pulley pump has a longer shaft, I don't think I can put a single pullety on it. One junk yard said this pump was only a 68 to 71 and Cutlass only . Another yard said all GM's are the same .....question, what pump will fit on this "69 Cutlass, 350, with out AC ??????

I'm with the other Yard, I think only the Pulley is different, not the Pump.

Look them up here>> http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php
Click on the "More Info" link for part Pics,
Click on Part# for vehicles & years they were used on.

a little more research on the interchangablity of the pumps.... seems as thou the cutlass pump is the same as a chevelle, but the reservors are differnt. Oldsmobile must have had differnt ideas.......also, I found out some of the wiring harnesses that do the same job, are differnt ! Back to the P S pump..... I think , in order to get rid of the double pulley, the pump also has a longer shaft because of the thicker pully, I have to buy the pump insides ( about $40 ) use the Olds reservor, and then all I need is a single groove pully..............or......... I could find a used GM pump assy, and just change the reservors
