You are right Brian and everyone of them have their idiosyncrasies. (thank goodness for spell check). The roadster has the temp gauge in the head and the fan sensor in the bottom of the radiator. In town the fan cycles between 180 and 185. On the interstate it won't cycle on until about 205 so I just flip it on at 185 or 190. Anyone else would move the fan sensor to the other head but I am so used to it i don't think about it any more. Just flip the switch.
I really like the Rambler. It definitely has personality.
