Hey there, I don’t have any fact information on this for you. But I have done head gaskets on many of those cars, mostly on the 3.5, a few 3.3 models. I have always wondered myself what these engines would do with some work done to the ports. They are huge in those things but look like they could use a little more work. I always thought that the design of those engines was pretty cool. They just have a rep for popping head gaskets, tossing the timing belt because the automatic adjuster gives out. Not to mention the wiring nightmares. Don’t get me wrong; I am not bashing your car, just speaking from experience working on them. I would be very interest in what you do to increase performance on your ride. Keep posting. …. Twist

What are the "rules" and how much do you want to spend?

The cheapest way to go is to reduce weight by getting rid of whatever you can.

Convert to rear drive, cut the floor up for a trans tunnel and shaft, ladder bars in the rear, hemi in front. Heck, make it one of those new hemis. The only way it would go faster is with a Viper V-10 in front. You got room once the FWD stuff is out, ya know....

Just a suggestion...

How many miles are on it? You can bet you'll need engine work soon it its got 70k on it. The car dealers around here won't even keep them on the lot if they come in on trade. Get rid of it and get a rustang!!! Can you tell I'm not a ford or mopar guy??? LOL
