I recently picked up a 62 nova rolling chassis. It has no interior and the car will need some rust repair and repaint and all. I am thinking about going with white for the exterior, but I'm not sure about the interior. I thought about doing a white and black interior, just for a clean look, but I've heard that white doesn't go well with black. I was also thinking about a red interior or blue to contrast the white exterior. Any thoughts? If anyone has any pictures, either of interiors or white exteriors that would be cool. Really just looking for ideas, I need to replace the floors and do interior work this summer so I'd like to get the dash and interior painted a good color that will look nice with the exterior. Also, not looking for anything real wild. Just pretty basic. Maybe even a little sheetmetal for door panels or something. Thanks.

Oh alright. I just heard someone say that it was too much of a contrast. I guess it just depends on what looks good to you. I think white/black would look sharp, but I'm also leaning towards the white/red interior.

Nope I haven't. I haven't actually seen many cars at all. I'm just getting into hotrodding actually. I've been driving/building a 82 Toyota 4x4 for trail use since I first started driving (I'm 18), and I just picked up this 62 Nova to start building for a sweet little daily driver. It is my first car, not really sure what would look good in it.
