Working on a solid black car and was trying to get ideas and or pictures of interior color (s ) The car has 4 Thunderbird bucket seats from a 92 super coupe. full length consol.
I was thinking a saddel color Ultra leather. Then I thought the ultra leather may be hot in the summer. black & silver cloth combination of some kind of material maybe ?
Ideas,comments, pictures.

Black on Black, possibly some red stiching if your running red calipers.

Personally I like the idea of the Saddle color..Perhaps a lite tone..if you are really concerned about the ultra being hot then we could look for a nice complimenting material and do a cloth insert..That is you or your stitcher is going to do it..I think something like that could look very classy..You may want to get some samples of the colors you may like and lay them out on the seats to get a better idea of what the final will look like..

The car has about 10 gauges in the dash and console when you sit in it you feel like youre in a stealth fighter. That theme in mind the black & silver would do the trick. Black Rave material on the side bolster and a silver cloth seat insert. The saddle, butterscotch color trim with a shade or two lighter cloth seat insert would look high end Lexus or Cadillac luxury. I really like that look also.
Keep the ideas,pictures coming. The car goes to the Upholstery shop mid May.

UltraLeather doesn't absorb as much heat as leather or vinyl. From experience, it is very noticeable.

If you are thinking black on the interior, I would recommend doing a charcoal/dark grey with some medium gray inserts. I personally think that black cars with black interiors have a little too much black.

I'm going with gold interior in my black chevelle. Though I cant really picture it in your car....

Nice...Really nice work Kris. Impressive . That interior would certainly work with a Stealth Fighter theme. With that in mind, Your thoughts are much appreciated on a Stealth Fighter theme to a car interior.

Black on black is a little over the top for me. I like some contrast. Red is good if your into red but I believe a cream or light tan would look better.
