My velour door panels are a little faded but in good shape , really only needing a dye job. Are there any suppliers out there that can make a fabric dye to match mine ?
SEM makes a product you can re-color your velour with, but only to freshen up what you have now, not to make radical color changes. It's called Color Coat. It comes in aerosols, and there are lots of colors. I think your color would be 15273 Napa Red.
How'd it go on. Coverage wise I mean. My wifes daily driver seats are in perfect condition except for the black fabric is faded to dark blue at the top of the back seat. Have always wondered if there was something I could re-color with.
It covered pretty well. Can't complain. The velour is a little bit stiffer now but 90% of the faded area is gone. I'd use it again. I put about 6 light coats over it in the course of three days.
Thanks. I might give it a try after I fix a few other things.
