When I build the overhead console in my truck, I want to install a small directional light that I can use to spotlight the ashtray on the dash with.

Are there any cool web sites or catalogs that offer such lights? Or should I resort to the scrapyard and look for something there?

Yup. That's what I meant ... only I'd like something a whole lot smaller if possible -- that one's 3 1/2" x 2" ... I was thinking more like 2" x 1" ... but this one will do the trick.

The boneyard's a good place too. My 2000 Sierra (pickup) has two directional lights built into the overhead console. I bet a lot of cars/trucks/vans have them stock. Maybe you could get something to work.
