interior seats

i have a 56 ford pu that im redoing the interior. i would like to know what newer car seats have been used. would like to know either bench or bucket seats. thank you

Whatever seats you choose, you will have to build a frame to set them on.



I used buckets out of a Hyundia Steller.

Tape measure is your friend. Measure your truck cab and then go to a junk yard and look at seats. Find one that looks good. Then measure.

seating

You might consider looking at seats from a conversion Van, like an E-150 or such, as they are plush and generally have the right heights and track to fit your truck. If you run into a dimensional problem, look at seats from a mini van like an Aerostar.

Bench seat out of 80s chevy pu works good, just the right width. I used 87 Olds Cutless buckets in my 55 f100.
