did you sell them on ebay? if so your only choice to ship is priority mail. if you don't you could loose. if the buyer said he did not get the item he gets his money back all that he paid even shipping. That mean he gets it for free and you are out the item and the shipping money.

Where are you shipping it to?
Anything shipped up here is usually double the original cost. Usps is cheapest for a buyer. UPS charges a broker fee.

Italy eh!
Keep your parts till the cash arrives in the mail!
Whether it's tracked and signed for you might still have problems. I worked with a guy. We called him Johnny ebay. LOL!
He learned not to ship to Italy. After a few transactions where he had to refund the money and never saw his stuff again he refused to deal in several countries over there.
Not saying your buyer is dishonest but just be cautious.

The only way I deal on Ebay is through PayPal. I do not ship anything until I see the payment in my PayPal account. My listings state very clearly that the item winning bid price only is insured not the shipping. The listings are confimed by Ebay.

How big are these tail lights?

I ship a lot of stuff all over the world (ever UPS a 115 pound crate to France? Its staggering).

I wont ship anything UPS/DHL/Fed Ex overseas unless the customer specifically asks me to.
Your other option is to find a freight forwarder with a shipping container going to Europe. You box em up, ship to the forwarder, when the container is full of stuff, it goes to (insert country here). Easy for you, cheap for you, but it may require quite a wait.

You can ship USPS using your own box but its way more expensive than one of those 'if it fits it ships' deals. In fact, it might even be more expensive than UPS.

take them to the UPS store and the Post Office window and ask them to help you. Usually, you'll get a better quote.
