Intro heh heh heh
Hello hotrodders!
Thanks for a most informative board,am already learning but the curve is steep! Cars have till now been a utilitarian thing make payments change oil was about it. Enter this 66 mustang 200 six, bought this to drop a 302 (5.0 with aod into) but research and respect for its age has convinced to keep the six. She will need to be gutted stripped and completely gone thru. Engine will run but a determination as to run it or rebuild hasn't been made at the least will probbly go with a 250 head to relieve breathing and add a few horses. much body and paint, suspension brakes and steering to be upgraded. add air modern lighting and a not correct interior, head rest buckets and possibly no back seat at all? Like an older business coupe? At any rate a good project for myself to work with my 11 yr old son. wish me luck and speak up with any advice or recomendations! robert |

Welcome to HRBB. This is a good place, with many knowledge people participating. Your car is a good choice of cars to start with as there are many manufacturers selling good quality restoration parts. Mustangs for the most part were not mysterious. Which will make it a satisfying project for you and your son and it will be fairly easy to complete. Have fun, Mikey
