Intro from wet Washington

Hello all! As the title say's I'm from wet Washington State. A quick rundown of my cars. A 1976 Austin Mini Clubman, 1991 Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo and a 1941 Chevy 2 dr. Sedan.

I bought the 41' after I saw it at the Goodguys show in Puyallup, WA. It has a 400 crate motor w/700R4 trans. Wabbit dash w/woodgrain inserts, *****in firewall, heat and A/C, Jim Meyers Mustang II w/discs & coilovers, Nova 10 bolt rear.
The passenger side door is smoothed with a popper and wing window removed. Passenger side of hood has been smoothed also. Flush mount tail-lights and 3rd brake light. Tric Trac hidden rear license plate. Tilt GM column. Needs finished smoothing and same treatment to drivers side. Needs interior finished. Painted in orange DP primer.

Now that I've had it for 3/4 year, I'm anxious to get something else. I have it up on Craiglist for sale or trade and I'm looking to get a Model A Coupe or Tudor Sedan or a 32-39 Chevy, Ford or Plymouth Coupe.

Kelly

I once worked with a guy who was from Washington. He said that whenever he felt homesick, he'd stand in the shower with all of his clothes on!

Welcome.

Yeah, tell everybody it's wetter than it really is. It keeps more people from moving to our neck of the woods.

Welcome to HR.com, what part of Southwest Washington are you from?

Well now, it's only wet if you're on the west side of the mountains.

I grew up in the North East part of the state in Okanogan county, and we were considered "semi-arid" (basically almost desert for those of you who don't know what that means ), and we had less than 10 inches of rain in a year!

LOT'S of snow, though.

Ltlgto, Your profile say's SW Washington. How far south, and how far west? I'm originaly from Cathlamet (actually Puget Island), but haven't even been back to visit since ''82 or '83. I worked in the woods there until I cam back up here in '64. I know what WET is! Here are some pics of my pride and joy.

Blazin' 72, I do what I can to keep em away
Yeah, the floods were pretty bad, especially in the Chehalis area. 10' of water on I-5.

WDCreech, I'm in Longview so pretty close to your old area in Wacky Ackum County. Love your 64' Goat. I actually picked my user name (little GTO) because of Pontiacs. I've had a 65' Lemans, 70' Lemans Sport and a 69' GTO. Grew up with my dad owning new 65' GTO, 67' Firebird H.O., 69' Lemans Custom 'S' and my favorite and very rare 72' Lemans GT.

Thanks all for the welcome. I hope to have my son join up to. He is picking up a 1938 Chevy Coupe this Saturday for a project. (I'm jealous)

New Interiors, it looked like Nawlins for a while. Luckily for us, water drains or soaks in pretty fast. The slides off the hills can be pretty bad though.

If you get a chance, check out my son's soon to be 38' Coupe. He posted in the lounge instead of intro's but he's got pic's posted.
