Introduction

Hey fellow rodders:
I am posting this to introduce myself. I don't have any specific questions right now, but will probably be asking for some help in the future. I have two cars - a Tbucket (pictured) and a '26 T tudor. The Tbucket has a 500 Cadillac engine and a trubo 400 trans. It is old school, with drum brakes all around and buggy spring suspension front and back. It is frequently street driven. The tudor has a blown SBC with a 700R4 trans. It has a Mustang II front suspension and rear coils, so it is not old school like the Tbucket. I am retired, so I have a little time to fool around with the cars in between many other projects. When I retired several years ago, I thought I would have more time for hot rods, but it seems like there isn't enough time for everything I would like to do. I live in Birmingham, AL. I haven't hooked up with any other rodders in the area - I tend to be a lone wolf. I have been to some local cruise-ins, and it seems like the majority of the cars there are the high-dollar street rods rather than the type I have. If any of you know of events where good old hot rods show up, let me know. Lou Sauer

Thanks - that's a fine 5-window coupe you have. I looked at your photo album and was very impressed by your shop and projects that are in progress.
