thanks, i was going to save up for 6.0 vortec and t56 for firebird but deciding on keeping her stock and getting first gen camaro. Still undecided on selling the stealth as it is a pretty decent daily driver. Living at the apartment limits the things you can do. So i'm trying to get somewhere around 7k and buy camaro in decent shape so apartment management would not go crazy. They already went crazy when we had z28 half way apart

Welcome
Tell us about the picture in your personal profile. Is it a drag race or street race or ? I looks like you enjoy the sport.

Picture in the profile is from auto-x event. That's why i wanted to get t56 for the bird. I always wanted to get a first gen camaro so i am thinking of dropping the idea of t56. Currently firebird is stock with 305 TPI, 700r4 and 2.73 limited slip rear. The limited slip part of the rear is wore out and it's almost like an open diff. I enjoy cars and love the sport, but it takes money and that have been the slow down reason for me. In the picture you can see that i'm running in NFS class, so i'm pretty new to the sport. The particular picture in the profile i actually when i lost it and took down few cones. The rear brakes don't really work and front locked up when i was braking, when i tried to get the car to turn by force the rear started to slide one way then other. I still ended up pointing the right direction but the car stalled. At least it was the finish line, but i did run one of the worst times for me that day
