I joined about a two years ago and have been following along at a distance. I am about ready to get going on a project but need to do some work on my garage before that will happen.
I have a '68 Beaumont that is a Canadian car made by Pontiac for those of you south of the border. I'm living in Kitimat in northern British Columbia, Canada. I'm in my late fifties and have been involved in cars and bikes since the sixties. In first car was a '55 Ford I put in a 312 Y block with an Offy 3 deuce set-up and an "I" beam from a '65 Ford Econline van with a tube grill for the Fairlane. I worked at Fords in Oakville Ontario for four years before moving west in '72. Here I purchased a 68' Beaumont and went to work on it putting in the cut down tube grill from the '55. I still have the Beaumont and plan to get it going again. It has a 327 that was rebuilt with a solid lifter cam that was a stock corvette item in the sixties. I've done a bit of painting starting with spray bombs on a '69 Ski Roule snowmobile and working up to choppers and friends cars after purchasing a compressor and an airbrush.
