IR T-30 Pump Rotation Direction?

I just finished having my IR 2475 with a T-30 pump completely rewired. It does not have the original motor. I'm unsure which direction the motor should turn. Would it not compress if turning the wrong direction? It is a reversible Baldor motor that's on it. The belt guard has an arrow on the top of it pointing left to right. The belt's running the other direction. I just want to clarify before switching it. The pump is on the left and the motor on the right. Here's the compressor I have. LINK

Look at the blades on the flywheel, it should push air across the pump head. If it is turning so that air is being pulled instead of being forced in the direction of the pump it is running backward.

It needs to run the same direction as the pump was designed to run.

If it is a reversible motor----then all ya gotta do is switch a couple of leads.
There should be a diagram/instructions inside the motor connection point (where the line wires run into the motor-lil square box attatched to motor)

Switching the direction of the motor is not an issue. I called IR and talked to a tech. The compressor will work turning either direction and is supposed to turn the direction it is already. As OldRed said, you want the blades of the flywheel to blow over the pump. That's the way it is. I don't know what the sticker was for. I removed it. BTW OldRed. It now has that Siemens mag starter and was completely rewired my my friend that's a retired electritian. Everything's good to go.

Most compressors will compress air in either direction but lubrication may be a different story. On a splash type system it may or may not lube properly (apparently that one will if IR said it would) but on a pressurized system it will not lube at all if it is turning backward.
