Iron duke valve cover?

Anyone found a valve cover to replace the factory one on GM 2.5l engines?
All I find is the GM#10031327.Tried merc.marine lids and 1 was small the other to long.Anybody fabricate one?Anybody adapt a v8 cover?
I am working on the later,1980 year engine, not the chevy II.
Thanks,doug.

I've never liked the look of them either. Thought one could fab a rectangular one with a removeable top to hide the stock bolt pattern.

Or you could chrome a stocker.

Hey some one else has a passion for these engines- what else have you done to yours? What are you using it for?

I would have a passion for it too, if I could get decent parts for it.
Most people passionately hate it.
I don't see what is so bad about the Duke, other than they die fast if they are not regularly serviced.

That won't replace a factory valve cover- its for the Super Duty head- which is completely different.
