Iron Powerglide converter compatibility.
Hi to all. I just rebuilt my 55 Powerglide and just found out the converter oviously swallowed something hard some time ago. The stator blades are heavily damaged and some of the sheet metal ones in the converter body are also damaged. In any case it was working just fine anyway but I would like to use another converter I have laying around. I think this other converter came from a 58 or 59 Powerglide. Can I just swap them? Are 55 to 62 converters all the same? I know theyre different inside but the sizes, diameters and teeth count looks identical.
