It's a Snap Wiring Harness???

Anyone have any experience with the It's a Snap harness? I have one in my 50 Ford Deluxe that was installed before I bought the car. As I get into the car and get familiar with how the car was built I am struggling with how this harness is put together. Specifically, the fuse box. It seems like it is in two parts...one part mounted to the firewall, and the actual fuse block connected to the mounting bracket. How does the actual fuse box clip or attach to the mounting base? Or, does it even come apart? Trying to familiarize myself so I can add various power accessories in the future. I have tried to contact the company with no luck...no answer / disconnects and no website. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Maybe you have this but if not I hope it helps. It's a Snap is part of TPI.

Their website is at www.itsasnapwireandcable.com or call 1-866-462-7628. Feel free to call If you have any questions.

I copied and pasted the above from the Internet.

Thanks! I do already have this information and have tried to call and the website with no luck. The phone just disconnects and the website is not registered which tells me it was taken down at some point. Will keep trying. Thanks again!

That does not sound incouraging. Good luck.

I saw something that suggested they make the summit racing branded wiring kits. Summit posts their manuals on their website, so you might look at those and see if they look familiar.

Summit Racing - Performance Car and Truck Parts, Accessories and More!

Thanks for the information! I looked on Summit's website and that universal kit loos VERY familiar. I think you may be right unclebill. That said, I think I have it figured out. Just need to get into the wires and figure out. If I do not have any luck I can always go with a replacement harness. Really like the Rebel guys...supper nice and very service oriented.

Thanks!!
