Post Ive got another question, what exactly is a cat-back exhaust?

Is it possible to run true duels on a 1984 Z28 camaro? Also should i get a 50 or 40 series flowmaster?

yes it`s possible, but I wouldn`t. Z`s sit low and since there is not much room for dual pipes you`ll snag on speed breakers and etc. I`d just get a single 3 inch exhaust ran into a flowmaster that`s made for your car. a cat back exhaust is a system that runs from the cat converter back.

Also for inspections u need a cataliac converte rand on those third generatoin cars there is only room to run a single exhaust. I herd of people cheating the catalac converter, for the inspection u need one there so they take a catilac converte and run a pipe through it, so all it is is a pipe that goes through the catilac converter and the exhaust does not come in contact with it

To build a true cat back exaust you must insert a garden hose in the tail pipe and them run it to the back room where the cat sleeps, be sure and jet the carb rich enough!

But that only works for eight cars and only with a really slow cat. Being as we are all hot-rodders here, no one is gonna cop to having a slow anything so it flat ain't about to work.

You see, first you have to get the cat in a cage. THEN you do the deed.

Cool

I don't have to mess with that cat stuff cause the newest thing I drive is my 74 Dodge Pu. My wife lets me drive her supercharged 96 Buick riv once in a while. She drive a mini van most days, gas for the Riv is expensive. Is that Flowmaster or Cat Back exhaust expensive for those cars that can run it?
