I've got to stop going to auctions.

Last weekend I went to an auction to watch a 49 Chevy pickup sell. I didn't buy the pickup but I did end up buying a Honda 3-wheeler that didn't run. It took less than an hour to get it running after I got it home. I had never driven a 3-wheeler but I found out it is just a little tricky.

This weekend I went to an estate auction and ended up buying an El Camino. It runs great, they had a mechanic go though it and he put on a new alternator, tuned it up and fixed the brakes.

I've got to stop going to those auctions. Oh well, since harvest season has begun, I'm not going to have much time to waste for the next couple of months.

Look at it this way....make it a 2nd hobby and you can profit from it if your carefull. I have a friend that has made his entire life savings from auctions....runs a mom and pop office supply here in Harrison. He's not rich, but it pays his bills. Sounds like you may have yourself a side job in the makings....

I seem to be better at buying than selling.

you need to go to more auctions, you're always finding cool cars! I'd love to have the old Chevy you ran in the parade,

I missed a couple of auctions lately that I wanted to go to, one had a 41 Buick and the other had a 56 Ford. It would have been interesting to see what they sold for. But I would have been in danger of owning one of them if I wasn't careful.

That is an understatement now you know why theyy were banned

I rode one once at the rod club driveway. It would not turn. I got off and left it there...the owner said "how'd you like it?"

I forget what I said
