Don't see a problem with what you have done. REALLY. I dunno why Matthew didn't just tell everyone where he got the gun from the beginning especially if you approved of it as a new product that is going to be sold by PBE. That would be more reason for people to buy it. What you have done happens all the time on various forums for some choosen people getting to try things out and give an opinion afterwords. Most of the time they are not open about it or get upset when questioned afterwords if not being up front for being pointed out. I do have another question how do you know the gun on EBAY will not perform as well as the gun that Matthew has in his possesion? Have you tried the gun from EBAY or is that an assumption that you have made without seeing or using it? I feel like the King with No Clothes On. P.S. I do not work for any competition and haven't a clue where you got that idea unless you are just paranoid. What is quoted above and in the older post is what you have posted on this forum in regards to the subject and topic at hand which is a COPIED GUN. |

Dear Abby,
The only reason I'm responding to you at all, is because I, YES I asked Matthew not to tell anyone where ther gun came from. It was me the villain not Matt. This gun has been sold out there with great success and only reason I wanted Matt to try it was because I was going to offer it here like I said than changed my mind. I know nothing about the other gun, don't care about the other gun and not intending to buy the other gun. I'm sure your next question why? Well, if I can say ms Abby, Matt was in the market for a gun and although I liked the gun, I knew that another of the same gun might spray different and I wanted to make sure the gun was as good as I thought. Oh! Yes I know we can't sell things on here but I had planned on sending Jon a copy of my bill of cost and since freight was out of my pocket, figured he would OK a one time deal for the good of the people on here. Lookie here yaw, each of us over time will develop a feel for certain individuals that we correspond with usually daily... Through this forum I have met a very good man and now friend Jim Clark... He and I used this same gun that I have already posted about, last night on one of his projects... I wanted him to get a feel for it and see what he thought as well... He really liked it BTW.. Now again through this forum I have met Barry whom I also consider a friend of mine, Vince seems to be a really stand up nice guy, Bob too, as well as soo many others here... you see my point?? If you don't, let me fumigate some wisdom on you Timer.... I think when you got in on this thread you had like 6 post to your name, and you immediately start attacking someone who holds allot of credibility on this forum....If you think your funny, I don't, and I don't like the way you are hijacking MY THREAD about this gun.... If I were a mod, I would ban you for your smug behaviour... lucky for you I am not... I cant stand rude, cocky, condescending people...
Barry for obvious reasons asked me not to say who got me the gun... Look at what happens when someone finds out he did.... I ask him to chime in here on the guns that were being sold on ebay.... Yes I ask him, because I saw they had a 1.5 tip and I did not know if that would really work or not, and you can look back in my old post and see that I made mention of this issue... Everything about this thread was for the betterment of the people on the board.. You come along and try to manipulate the situation....bad form sir bad form.. LOL well i'm not sure I'm the best person to be giving any sort of review due to my lack of experience. But I do have a door I was working on for my Blazer and I was going to practice on that to see how it comes out. I'm waiting on supplies right now....went with SPI due to price and good reviews from the knowledgable people here on this BB (I just wish spi had a dark metallic gray/slate color ). I'll post pictures of the results....it will be a couple weeks.Colin |

Tuul shed emailed me, but never got everything worked out yet. I sent a copy of an invoice they sent me and a money order to them yesterday, but never did get ebay's checkout system to work. I think it may be due to not being able to switch my email address on ebays site, till I get a new debit card (switched banks). Ebay requires a card number to switch you email address for identification or some crap. I am sure I will be fine, they seem alright to deal with as far as I can tell. When I get it I will try it out, but I never used the expensive guns to compare it to. Just my sharpe and the few hvlp guns I have used over the years. I haven't worked in a bodyshop for many years now, so only really tried some earlier hvlp guns like mattson, accuspray, and the binks at my last job. The binks I never had to spray clear with, just lovely camaflauge and industrial type paints. But if I get it I will say what I think of it.
And if the mods won't ban paint tech constructomer, why should they ban timer. |

OK, Bottom line.
I sprayed a hood with Mathew with the gun. He helped me a lot in gun set-up and spraying, he Knows a lot for a young whipper-snapper!! The gun sprays really well and seems to use very little air. For a hobbiest with a small compressor this could be a great match. The fit and finish isn't as good as my Astro (another copy gun) but it's good for the price and better than others I've seen. I think it actually sprays better than my Astro but maybe not quite as well as some of my older higher priced guns. We're not comparing to them. that's apples to oranges different. This gun is definetly one that you could do a great paint job with. Everyone has their favorite and I do too, but this gun is one that I would use. And that is the bottom line!!!! |

I knew there was a reason THIS thread went 5 pages.
Didn't really figure a "knock off" gun would warrant this much ink. Call me stupid, But, I went and got the REAL thing. Knock off's have a place in life but after using the REAL DEAL, It's worth EVERY penny paid. |
