Iwata LPH400 vs SATAJET 2000 for metallic basecoat

Looking into purchasing one of the following and was wondering what would be best for shooting basecoat metallic. HOK Shimrin metallic to be specific.

Also wondering whats the difference between a SATAJET 2000 and SATAJET 2000 RP ?
What does the RP stand for?
and
IWATA LPH400-144LV what does the 144lv stand for?

The Sata 2000 is an HVLP and the Sata 2000 RP is HVLP compliant. The RP stands for reduced pressure. The 144 is the fluid nozzle 1.4mm and the lv, lvb and lvx are all basecoat gun models in Iwata. The current model Sata guns are 4000 the 2000's are dis continued.

Thanks Steve. Just picked up an Iwata ls400 brand new. Got the platinum cap 1.4 for clearcoat. Plan on also using it to lay the metallic if I dont get a good used Satajet 4000 before.

Im wondering if the Iwata platinum cap will work for metallics?
