Glad you have had some positive results! I will admit to you that I still mostly let the gun control me instead of the other way around, but I'm getting better. I find that different clears and SS urethanes all need a bit of minor tweaking to get good results, now that you see the difference that can be made, you will find the right adjustments to fit your style. I see when I am spraying that even a quarter turn on the material or fan knob can make a difference. I don't spray with the fan all the way open though, maybe I am doing it wrong, but I see more overspray for no gain when it's wide open on the Iwata. SATA is a different story though, the RP I used wanted that fan all the way open and the pattern was still a bit fatter in the middle at the pressures I wanted to spray.
