Post JAG IRS

DOes anyone know what needs to be done to a JAG IRS from 1983 XJ6 to fit under a 31 Model A.? Is It the right width?

If you plan to use stock with fenders you will have to shorten the driveshafts and controllarms, which sounds more difficult than it actually is, provided you have access to a lathe, if nit you should have some shorter shafts fabricated. the controllarms is just a question of cutting and welding. the shafts are a little more tricky

send me a mail and i can send a how-to sketch, it requires a lathe, a press and a welder

Correctamundo....what "duece_454" said. I just shortened mine to 50" over the wheel flanges for a street-legal sprint car. Everything he said is what I did...it wasn't difficult. I had the added challenge of the pinion being 1" off center. I had to space all the right-side pivot points 2" out to get the pinion in the center. Then I took 6 3/4" out of each side.
