jag IRS how much power
Hi all,
new to the forum and my first thread - damn I just lost my cherry again. I have searched for info on the Jag IRS and have found a heap load of information on it. With one exception - how much power can I put through one till it pops. I am going to be putting about 650 HP through the unit. Can the IRS handle this much power and what are its weak points. If it has known weak points can I strengthen the unit / swap out components to uprate the IRS. I was going to use the unit that has an LSD (limited slip diff) as standard. For anyone putting the unit into a classic mustang this web site is very useful: http://home.bresnan.net/~dazed/JaguarIRS1.html |
