take frame measurements between the two cars. thats the first step/ also, it depends on the overall width of the two rears. if its pretty close both ways, itll go a whole lot easier for you. the next step would be to remove the rear from the jag, and slide it under the silverado. take a look at how much and where youre gointg to have to cut the frame. hopefully, itll be close enough that you wont have to move frame rails.
id recommend using as much of the stock locating hardware for the project as you can, because it will cut down immensley on the favbrication ahnd reenginneering of the unit.
sorry i cant really be of more assistance, but ive never seen a jag rear underneath anything, mainly cause im too poor.but thats the general principle i go through when custom fabbing rears into vehicles that they didnt come out of. if its more involved, just look, scratch yor head al little, think about it, have some PBR, and fire up the fabricating skills.

If you're planning on fabricating a rear frame then mounting the Jag will be simple. What's a cantilever airbag setup ?

Here's a fancy one from the rear. Might help some. the calipers have been relocated from in front of the unit to the rear in this instance. I don't know why.

I too am installing a jag rear end into my 35 plymouth. Info is far between on installation. Street Rodder mag covered the jag from I.D., to disassembly and re-assembly in the issues of March, April, May and June of 1995. Also Truck Builder magazine (Oct. 2001) showed an install of a jag into an F-100 truck. I have come across many different photos that I will try to dig up. I could scan some or all of the mag articles if that would help.
