Post Jasper 305 V8 and chevy stock trans. questions.

I have a 1985 Chevy 1/2 ton...4wd...auto., with a Jasper 305 V8...the transmission blew, and I was wondering if it would bolt up to my 1991 Chevy 1/2 ton 4wd, auto., transmission.? and if it would in fact bolt up...would the driveshaft...etc. be affected? I've been looking around trying to find out if this is going to work...any suggestions??

If the 4WD had a small block chevy in it the 305 should bolt right in.

Larry

If he is a mechanic and don't know the blocks are the same size it's time to look for another mechanic. Here is the data site.

This has been discussed before and in the Knowledge Base.
