The DMV suggests you meet with the specialist when you first start to see what you need to do, Keep all receipts, take lots of build photo's and the vehicle is titled as the year and model it "most Closely" resembles. and only has to meet requirement for that year . My 32 glass roadster will only have to meet requirements for a stock 32.
