Hey everyone, I'm new as if you couldn't guess. My problem is my wife has a 99 Cherokee sport and sometimes it will just stall out while idling. Someone told me That the map sensor was the problem but the fix will only last a few months...I may not be Mr. Goodwrench but I know that that is not a fix. Has anyone had or know about this problem? Thanks

Could be the egr, carbon wedged in there.

egr valve or uneven fuel pressure due to a plugged filter? Just educated guesses here-

Jeep Cherokee
to everyone who replied to my question I wish to say thanks and the problem turned out to be the battery. I cleaned the egr ...no difference...replaced the fuel filter...no difference.. Traced it down to the battery and replaced it and have had not problem since...Thanks again to all.
