Angry Jeep CJ-7 Exhaust w/ SB350

Need some advice. I just had dual exhausts placed on my Jeep CJ-7 w/ a Chevy SB 350. It seems that since the exhaust was put on (FLOWMASTER 40 Series w/ 2" pipe from Headers all the way back) there seems to be a loss of power from before. Previously I had some crummy Flow Tech Mufflers but they were in bad shape (leaks). So I asked the exhaust shop guy what he recommended for pipe diameter. He recommended 2". Will 2" pipe affect performance on the engine? Or is my power loss related to something else? I was hoping someone would have some good news and tell me the 2" pipe is not the problem. I don't need to spen another $300 for a 2 1/2 pipe dual exhaust system. Any Comments?
