Jeep XJ (cherokee) abuse

So as the new owner of a 1996 Jeep Cherokee with 18x,xxx miles on it, but in wonderful shape, I join a Jeep forum. I find this thread.

Or, if you wish to skip that drama and discussion, go right to the video here.

it's a shame they did that to what was a pretty nice appearing Jeep... on the good side it shows how durable the things are. I hated hearing that 4.0 six (you can hear it rev the hell out of itself on occasion, jumps and the end in particular), they are soooo not meant to do that... they seem to be more like diesels that need spark plugs in regards to rev-ability.
1996 Cherokee Country- sadly stock, 190k miles
1974 AMC Javelin- 360, 4bbl holley, 3.54twingrip, no brakes. 64k miles
2000 GrandAm- sadly the engine is pointed the wrong way, so it has to go. Gotta love the v6 though.

/\yea I never drove anything with a good v8, besides stock/near stock pickup trucks, durangos, and a dodge magnum RT (first year) back at the local mopar dealer I worked at.

I've got a '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 4.0L 6. Very solid vehicle. It's a shame they destroyed that Jeep... it must have been stolen.

I use this Jeep Forum
