jerking drivetrain or rearend slipping???

i have a 350 in an 89 camaro rs with a 350 transmission in place of the stock 700r4 not sure what kind of rearend but its stock and while rideing its fine but when i let off the gas sometime it tries to jerk a little the transmission came out of a truck it has a shift kit not sure what kind but i think its a kit made for pulling power also it has a 3500 summit racing stall im wondering what could cause this jerking feel keep in mind its not all the time just some time and also the motor is built from the machine shop not even broke in yet anyone have any thoughts

Rear ends don't slip. They are gears that are in constant mesh with each other. Tranny is my guess.
