Good day to all hot rod enthusiasts!
I'm a recently retired engineering specialist in the aviation business. I'm interested in starting on a hot rod (street rod) project & I'll be starting from scratch! No, I don't even have a garage nor a project car so color me GREEN. I do have some friendly neighbors that are long term rodders so I'll be relying on these friends for a lot of support. I plan to build a modest garage this spring to get me started & I want to mount a 2-post type car lift for my project car so I'll need to consider door size, height, etc. Looking forward to sharing my experiences with all of you as I venture into my new found hobby. Sounds like an ambitious project! What kind of car are you thinking, you are going to build it from scratch?
