headliner trim paint

This is the headliner trim, and seat tracks.

Finishing up some painting

Now that I am getting the interior, I had to finish up some painting. The interior emblems on the doors and quarters were re-chromed. The had a red stripe and a bunch of small black ones. Same with the trunk emblem. Also the headliner trim for the front and back glass needed paint as did the seat tracks.

Off to the trim shop`

Well, I finally got to take the nova down to the local upholstery shop. I say local, but he does excellent work, on lots of classic cars. He has had several of his interiors on magazines. Most notable of late was a 55 chevy convertible he did the interior and top on that was sold at barret jackson 2 years ago, for 91K. He estimated my complete interior and trunk at about $2500. I can hardly wait. I am doing the whole interior yellow and blue like the outside of the car. The material is real nice vinyl and a real close match to the paint colors.

Heater hoses

I liked the new radiator hoses so much, I got some of the same for the heater hoses. Worked out great, and looks great too.
