Cooling come from a Flowkooler short aluminum water pump.

A massive Aluminum radiator.

Dual electric fans with thermostate control.

Th400 short tailshaft with a 10" converter from Redneck racing.
Shift kit and a deep pan. All this goes to a huge Hayes trans cooler.

Sorry no picts I didn't get that far this year. I have the parts they are still in the boxes.

Maybe a Gearvender overdrive? Anyone!

I didn't want to make a set of custom headers so I tried to find some stock manifolds that would fit.

Ram horn exhaust, no fit. Control arm mounts and engine mounts in the way. I needed rear exit manifolds.

Enter 1979 Chevy 350 truck left side and a 1956 Chevy 265 right side .Had to port match the 265 exhaust out to 350 size, lots of metal!

79 head pipe is ball and cup design 265 is flat gasket so I cut the ball off another 350 exhaust and had it machined flat. Now with a copper gasket under the flat and longer studs I have ball and cup head pipes on both sides.

I am also using copper exhaust gasket on block to manifold.

Flowmaster 40 series mufflers with full length pipes, chrome oval tips.

I also plan on smoothing casting flash off and smoothing the whole manifold.

Chevy 350 that will be over cammed and over carbureted.
9.5:1 or 10:1 compression, gear drive, Blah Blah

I want to use a Vintage Speed adapter for two 97's.
I had the manifold machined for the filler tube in front and a PCV valve just behind the carb .

The Olds valve covers will be attached over stock rocker covers.

Mallory Unilite distributor, Accel wires


Engine to be painted red and some light chrome.

I used stock steering with Borgensen joints and shafts. A vibration dampener was also used.

FK bearing were used to support the shaft in the stock column.

The stock steering wheel is still being used but I might cut it down a couple of inches. I read an article about someone who does this, Yuck more reasearch.

The adjustable rod ends picture is a stock photo from some where? But it is a Comp Eng. item.
