11-12-2006 10:55 PM Ladder Bar Crossmember
Because of the length of my truck and where i'm going to set my motor I wanted to run ladder bars to stick with the nostalgic line, since any set of bars i bought i'ld have to cut and modify I decided I would build my own. I started with a crossmeber and brackets.

Mocked up my front wheels, Ride height seems to be alright, have to put the motor in to decide if I channel it or just chop it Would like to do both maybe just channel it two inches and chop it three inches.

Got the spring and axle on, greased up the bearings and even put the rotors and calipers on. Just waiting for a buddy to send me my wishbone and i'll mount it and get ready to do my steering. Going to start making my ladder bars tomorrow.

11-10-2006 11:19 PM Assembling the Front End
Started putting my front axle together, amazed how easy it was Speedway included the necessary information where needed. I was totally amazed how they had the instructions in it for the collars and how to heat them in the oven to expand them to fit on the spindles.
