11-07-2006 10:52 PM Homemade Spreader Bar
I finished plating the frame after I trimmed the bottom of it and decided to change my spreader bar from a straight to a angled one. just sliced the pipe at 11 degrees and welded them together and sanded it up. I'll fix it up a little later but did my normal three hours a weeknight and have to do more tomorrow. Getting ready to enter it in the WORLD OF WHEELS here in Calgary in Feb as a unfinished project in our club display.

11-04-2006 11:12 PM Back Wheels On
Put my box on to check the wheel base it appears to be alright, I am 106.5 inches long, I'll have bigger tires on later., Might channel the box on the frame but I have to see when I mount the front end how low it is.

11-04-2006 11:05 PM Trimming the tubes
Wasn't satisfied with my front on the frame so I decide to change it a bit, slopped the cut a bit more and I think it looks better. The first picture is the first time I did it, the last picture is it cut again today.

11-04-2006 10:56 PM Putting in the Rearend
Just set up my diff with a kit from SPEEDWAY. The brackets come top and bottom and a set of coils. Simpler than heck and doesn't even look that bad. Just tacking everything up going to make a set of ladder bars and brackets tomorrow. Waiting on most of the parts to finish the bars and the front, they should arrive this week.
