10-29-2006 09:31 PM Box Work
Started on getting my box straightened out in order to figure out the wheelbase, Metal here in Canada didn't seem to like sitting around for 85 years. seem to be welding constantly between MIG and TIG. Put a new back in the box and now all I have to do is shorten it. and I'll be ready.

10-29-2006 09:26 PM Winter Time in Alberta
Just put my bucket in the back yard, needed room for the other projects and never got around to adding on to the garage as I planned. This was Saturday and on Sunday it snowed three inches, i'll post a pic showing the difference tomorrow. Got my boy taking off the tires, lately he's been more of a moral supporter than a helper, except today he needed money so he decided to help.

10-28-2006 12:16 AM Matching Corners
Started fitting up the corners and welding them back, the back of the truck was a dodge sedan of some style. got a pretty good fit up and it doesn't even look that bad, going to put some rain rails and it should look like it was made that way.

10-28-2006 12:10 AM Roof Mods
Cut out the parts that were supposedly the roof, Two door skins from some kind of 50's car pretty neat idea but wasn't done very well. I'm going to reuse the skins but use a straight edge and a tape measure this time. Started bracing the pieces with 1/2" tube as i start fitting them back in properly.

Don't know how many times a person does this during a build but you pile everything back together just to get a idea of what it'll look like. Not sure if I will shorthen the box or not, I would like to chop it three inches still undecided about everything.
