Annoyingly some areas have reacted with the base primer so repairs will be carried out soon.
Overall though for an electrician with no previous painting experience I am pleased with the end product.

Sunday evening 15th Feb-
After frustrating delays due to problems with the etching primer bleeding through and reacting with the colour coat I finally got some colour on the axle and transmission.
Two good coats of lacquer have also been applied.
The 1st pic was taken under fluorescent lighting.
The 2nd pic was taken with the camera flash.

The following shows the chassis and axle with a fresh coat of filler primer, so this weekends task is to flat the whole lot down and blow over a coat of colour and hopefully lacquer. Stay tuned to see how I get on
