I got a day in this weekend to work on refining the inner half of my passenger wheel well. It took some pounding, some slicing, more pounding, etc. I also made the recessed area in front for the hoop supports. It's starting to look reasonably close...

Still building the passenger inner fender. Making it symmetrical, by hand, is time consuming. It's still not symmetrical. I can still see major differences. It's not too late to make templates. I still have a lot of work to do....

So I'm now working on the passenger side. I've had a little time the other weekend, this one, and possibly a little over the next couple.

I started by building this the same way I built the driver side and my goal is to make it close. These were never truly symmetrical from the factory (frame rails are asymmetrical, driver side has steering and brake components, etc). I suppose I could make templates of the driver side and mirror them for the pass side, but I didn't.

This suspension has two different shims for what I believe are caster adjusting. I left some room around the upper control arms so I could install either of the two shims.

Now I need to do all of this all over again, and mirror it, for the passenger side.

There is a lot more room now for the front wheels/ tires. I've also added more material on the inside to reduce the large gap the OEM design had.
