Well, HF replaced the tube bender - no probs.

Wednesday night I did get some tube work done. No photos. Weather report has changed and today looks promising. My wife doesn't want to go to the home and garden show. Time to get some work done. Photos later today.

Well, last night my wife took me shopping. No work on the hot rod.

Tonight was supposed to be the night. Cold and rain moving in. Probably won't get another chance until next Monday. But it was not to be. Neighbor's tree came down in the high winds, crashing into my daughter's swing set and busting up the guttering on the corner of the porch. Could have been worse. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get Adrian over here to split it for me. (Just kidding)

Not a great day. Broke the tubing bender. Made in China, but it does have a lifetime warranty. We will see how that works. Then I broke my 35 year old Blue Point flaring tool. I lost count of how many ruined starts I cut off the supply line before I got it right. As a result, the line is only about half done. Hopefully I can finish it tomorrow night.

Beautiful day today. About 80 when I got off work.

The final two bends and the flare took longer than I thought it would. It still needs a bit of tweaking, but it is basically done. It fits. I can be installed while the body is on the car, although I intend to install it on the frame before I set the body down.

So, the return line is complete. On to the supply line.

Got to work tonight and it looks like I might get out there Thursday after work as well.

Located and installed the rear-most mount on the frame rail. Removed the shock crossmember to ease putting the line in. Made the bend over to the tank. Decided to mount the lines to the tank supports. Now all I have to do is decide whether to put a 90 plus a 180 or just put a 90 straight into the tank line. Then on to the supply line.

Spent the rest of the evening getting the two open bays ready for our DD's in case we get hail (or worse) tomorrow.
