1950 Chevy 3100 Pickup - Motor Mock Up 1

Here are some photos of the distance and clearance of the motor and where it's positioned. Looks like 3" from center of the mounts ought to do it. And looks like I have 5" from the waterpump pulley flange to the back of the radiator core support. Firewall clearance looks right on.

1950 Chevy 3100 Pickup - Motor Mock Up

The passengers side panels are all installed. Since the weather is very cold, I started working on the motor and trans mock up. Here's what I've got so far. The motor and trans is the setup I bought from a guy off of Craigslist in Rockford IL, in an earlier post this is the motor and trans that I picked up for 200 bucks. Got the motor set near where I want it, looks like 3" back from the original motor mounts. Will need minor firewall/floorboard work to clear the trans. Still need to make up or modify the original trans crossmember.
