11-11-2009 07:43 PM Strangest job I've ever done
Had a request from a friend of my sister who is a chef and wanted a flamed mixer. Bought a new KitchenAid and handed it to me. "What do you want?". "FIRE". Hummm.OK.
This one is in the 09 SPI tech manual too. Just blew my mind.
Who would have thunk it?? Barry's THE man.

11-11-2009 07:22 PM Been awhile
Days turn to blurs and months turn to days. Been SO long since I've got to do much of anything but paint. Still have the 85 dually to finish and a tube chassis Camaro to do but I had a chance to do some work awhile back, Cool thing was having some of them selected for inclusion in the 09 SPI catalog. Barry and Andy thought it was "different" and representative of good work as well as their fine products. My thanks to them and their never ending drive to create some of the BEST paint products available.
BTW, Date is wrong in the pic's,No grass around ARK in Jan. This was early summer.

New mail box with SPI SS Black,HOK MC-OO to a semi black chrome shade,SPI intercoat with HOK KK's for the Fire,SPI MS Clear.

Hot rod of a different sort.
My buddy wanted his Strat painted and made a big mistake.
He gave it to ME to paint. Hehehe.
Guy offered him a Grand for it at the guitar shop.
Hummm... 1,000 for a 300.00 guitar.

Nope, It's not for sale.
