Purchased a Lokar gear shifter which is mounted on the body found it the easiest thing to install to date. Keeping in with the oil stick & transmission level stick theme all Lokar.

01-28-2012 06:08 PM DAsh board
Onto the gauges & dash board ordered the polished surround to find it to wide for the dash supplied with the bucket. How unusual that more work is needed other than drilling a hole & installing it.
Started by cutting the dash in half extending it by 1 . Added a backing plate for extra strength then fiberglass filled it. Drilled all the holes for the gauges. Decided on white gauges with green back lights just to keep with the green theme.

11-29-2011 12:46 AM Mobile at last
November 29 2011
What a day, the bucket is mobile took 4 months in total to get four wheels one a month no wonder they cost so much, well putting that in the past I can now move it around which will make it heaps easier to work on. Everything came today the gas pedal, shifter, radiator overflow, two more lanterns, shifter boot & back wheels I am so glad I went for the wider Mickey Thompson tires these are 14" wide. I have sent the diff cover out to be polished hoping to get this back in a few weeks. It's getting close to completion and I now have a bit more enthusiasm to work on it more. Started installing the back lights & did a bit of the wiring over the weekend. Wiring is a part I will enjoy doing beats sanding & fiberglassing.

11-17-2011 05:30 PM Two wheels arrive
The front wheels turned up last week the back wheels are still nowhere to be seen. I have been told they will turn up in a few weeks I won't hold my breath. The wheels were ordered back and July and I was told they would take six weeks to be delivered we are now in the middle of November sixteen weeks later & still the delivery is not complete with no explanation why this has happened. Thanks very much Outlaw Speed Shop Adelaide for the great service. Which was paid for up front?

10-22-2011 05:59 PM Steering arm
23 October 2011
Got the cross arm back from the machine shop Right & Left hand threads machined in each opposite ends, this has been manufactured from high strength Stainless Steel I am still waiting on the spec sheet as no doubt the inspector will want to see it. (Photo 1) showing from the back the cross arm now under the 4 bars only having ¾" clearance but nothing hits with other parts, (Photo 2) showing view from the front, (Photo 3) Down low shot of the bucket steering arm now can't be seen, sort of tidies up the front a bit.
