10-31-2013 12:28 AM Accelerator setup
Purchased a chromed accelerator pedal system. Made a few brackets to fit it onto the steering column.
Photo 1 The pedal with the brackets.
Photo 2 The top bracket which the cable will connect to.
Photo 3 The low bracket made from S/Steel.
Photo 4 The pedal set up with the cable and return spring installed.
Photo 5 System installed under the dash.
Photo 6 the carburetor connections.
I did not take into account the strength required to open both carbs to full throttle, a lot more than this peddle had to give, the slotted plate connecting to the cable sheared off, very sad as it looked good.
I have made a temporary repair for now, a new design is needed about double the strength is required before I will get it to open the carbs full.

09-07-2013 02:30 AM Side wall panels
Photo 1 shows the side wall with the steel side intrusion steel ready for the panels.
Photo 2 The first attempt I used nylon not a good idea.
Photo 3 Purchased a sheet of Masonite panel board used the old panel as a template.
Photo 4 The Masonite cut out ready for the clips.
Photo 5 Installed on side wall, it would not stay in. I had a bit of research to do not how to bend this board.
Photo 6 What I needed to do was wet the board and clamp it into position, once it dried it stayed this shape.

08-10-2013 11:53 PM Back Seat continued
Re-cut and sewed the vinyl
Photo 1 Stapled the vinyl to the back board.
Photo 2 Another shot of the first.
Photo 3 The seat fitted looking a lot better than the first attempt. Still need to sort out around the roll bar.
Photo 4 The other side also looking heaps better, good enough for me.
Photo 5 Full shot of both seats.
Photo 6 Tried to show how close the pleats lined up, the camera angle makes it impossible but they are very close.
Onto the side panels and carpet.

08-10-2013 11:38 PM Back seat continued
Photo 1 Foam and foam cover glued and stapled on the back board.
Photo 2 Another few of photo 1.
Photo 3 the pleated vinyl lad out over the foam.
Photo 4 the top plate of the vinyl cut out.
Photo 5 First attempt to sew it up, this did not look good.
Photo 6 the other side did not look any better; I decided to start again with the sewing, a long process removing the stitching.
