Front Shock Mounts

Welded 1/4 inch plates to these so I can bolt them on. This was done so I could get them chromed. Also if I decide later to change the shocks un-bolting is better than a gas torch.

Front Shocks

Front shock mounting brackets decided to use hydraulic shock mounted to the bat wings. These were profile cut from 1/4 plate with a few holes added for looks.

4 bar to chassis

Welded the tube to the chassis and bolted two of the four bars to them. Need to think about the lower bars and the design of the plates before continuing on.

4 Bar to chassis

Four bar chassis connections, drilled a pilot hole then used a 3/4 hole saw to put the through tubes into the chassis. This is required to stop the frame from squeezing together when tightening the bolts. The tubes are 5/8 inside diameter.

Four Bars

Manufactured the four bars from 5/8 Schedule 160 seamless tube, tapped left & right hand 5/8 UNF threads into each end. Using a clevis links at one end and an eye bolt at the other.
