Re-cut and sewed the vinyl
Photo 1 Stapled the vinyl to the back board.
Photo 2 Another shot of the first.
Photo 3 The seat fitted looking a lot better than the first attempt. Still need to sort out around the roll bar.
Photo 4 The other side also looking heaps better, good enough for me.
Photo 5 Full shot of both seats.
Photo 6 Tried to show how close the pleats lined up, the camera angle makes it impossible but they are very close.
Onto the side panels and carpet.

Photo 4 the top plate of the vinyl cut out.

Photo 6 the other side did not look any better; I decided to start again with the sewing, a long process removing the stitching.

Photo 1 The back board in place I was unable to bend it so another method will need to be used.
Photo 2 Using an old electric bread knife I cut the foam to shape. What a magic tool thanks u-tube for the idea.
Photo 3 The sewn back lad out to see how it all lines up, not too bad for an amateur.
Photo 4 Used fiberglass to mold the edges of the seat back. Back seat board in place just a bit of a cleanup required.
Photo 5 Had to think about how I was going to keep the seat in place, used a key hole system.
Photo 6 Back seat board fitted ready for foaming.

07-12-2013 12:29 AM Seat Back construction
Acquired a piece of 3/8 plywood for the backing board, first I cut it into shape.
After fixing it onto the body I did not like the way it looked as the top would have been square and 8 wide to go around the roll bar. Took it out and tried again this time with a 45 degree angle at the top this will give the foam a more rolling look which is far better. Started sewing the vinyl the same as the base getting them to line up will be fun.
Photo 1 First attempt on the back board.
Photo 2 Started over again this time with an angle.
Photo 3 All the pieces screwed together.
Photo 4 Back board fitted back onto the bucket.
Photo 5 Back vinyl placed in for measuring.
Photo 6 First attempt to mark out the foam.

06-15-2013 12:53 AM Seat Base continued
Cut out the side walls decided to put the joins where you cannot see them. I glued around the hold to keep the material from puckering. Glued across the front where the material should have the hump at the front. Stapled it all to the base. First attempt ever at this turn out very good. Far cheaper than $2500.00 as quoted.
Photo 01 Side walls attached
Photo 02 Second side Attached
Photo 03 All sewn up ready for attaching to the base.
Photo 04 Completed and installed drivers side.

Onto the back now this looks very hard, love a challenge.
