Started on the back lights, purchased the lanterns from Speedway, these always look good. Decided on something different for the indicators, all of us oldies will remember KIT Knight Riders car with the front lights in the grill well I have taken this one step further using an electronic kit supplied down here & a few modifications, high powered LED’s, installed a pot and changed a few resistors gave me what I wanted. I drilled two rows of holes to fit the 3mm LED’s into the back ridge on the tray.
18 sets of wires & LED’s position vertically has the LED's raising and falling, the pot allows me to speed them up or slow them down.
Photo 1 LED showing the anode and cathode, anode is positive, cathode is negative plus the wooden template made.
Photo 2 LED cathode bent at 90 degree.
Photo 3 both LED’s set up ready to be soldered.
Photo 4 LED’s solder together and the wires added.
Photo 5 Hole drilled in the tray ridge.
Photo 6 Night Rider electronic kit assembled.

Photo 1, radiator fan cover painted in finish coat.
Photo 2, Front cover with all the shiny pieces added.
Photo 3, the overflow tank added couldn't go past this I love all things chromed.
Photo 4, Moto-Meter in all its glory
Photo 5 & 6 Cover installed to the radiator far better than the fiberglass one I first had. This should solve the comment made a few months ago, your not leaving the radiator like that are you, what do you think Wayne looking better.

Radiator cover final undercoat applied
Photo 1 & 2, fitted the cover to the radiator to mark out the center to fit the shiny pieces.
Photo 3 & 4, Shiny pieces added, as I want to have this working an Ali disc will need to be machined to transfer the heat to the Moto-Meter, it won’t be correct but close, as there should be no air flow over the top of the radiator.
Photo 5, painted the core black not sure if I like it but it’s too late now.
Photo 6, Finish coat applied.

After many hours of body filling & sanding, I finally spoke to a panel beater to see if they could lend a few words of wisdom to getting a good finish. He told me to purchase some spray putty and this would take out all the blemishes from the body filler, he was correct after a few coats as seen in the photos it came out quite good one more coat of undercoat then onto the final coat. I can’t go past adding a little bling to everything so Speedway Motors came to mind once again, purchased a chromed wing & Boyce Junior Motometer.
